中是中国的中，马是骏马的马，中国的骏马正在走向世界。
Zhong is “zhong” from China and Ma is “ma” from courser. Chinese courser is walking towards the world.
吴良行出生在浙江温岭的一个渔村里。他的父亲是当地小有名气的儒商。
Wu Liangxing was born in a fishing village in Wen Ling, Zhejiang Province, whose father was a learned businessman famous in the local area.
幼年的吴良行时常在父亲的教导下习字。父亲教育他：中国的文字是方方正正的，而做人也要像字一样堂堂正正。
Young Wu Liangxing often practiced penmanship under guidance of his father. His father taught him that the Chinese characters were up-right and foursquare, you should take in the good quality of the Chinese characters and be an upright person.
相对于父亲的严厉教导，性格温和的母亲给予吴良行更多的是慈爱。幼年的吴良行就在这样的环境下健康地成长。
人之初，性本善；性相近，习相远；苟不教，性乃迁；教之道，贵以专。
Compared with father’s strict teaching, Wu’s mother, who possessed a mild temper, gave Wu Liangxing more love. Young Wu Liangxing grew up healthily in such a family environment.
A person's nature is good when born; nature is similar with each other but habits are different from each other; nature will change if not taught; teaching morality is focused on devotion.
八年后 Eight Years Later
过年的时候，他的家中是最热闹的。村里的很多人都来要他写对联。虽然很辛苦，但看着家家户户都贴着自己写的春联，他的心里总是充满自豪。
Wu Liangxing has always been the most active one in his family in Spring Festival. Many villagers came to him and required couplets from him. Though he felt tired, when he saw every household put up the couplets which were created by his hand, he felt so proud and satisfied.
那一年，他以优异的成绩考上了大学，成为那个时代百里挑一的“天之骄子”。
That year, Wu entered a university with excellent score, and became the only “favored one by God” in that area.
在大学里，他愈加发奋学习，用行动谱写着自己的青春之歌；把自己的信念书于笔端：天行健，君子以自强不息。
In the univesity, he was more hardworking in study, and composed the melody of bloom with virtual action. He has devoted his faith to the penmanship. As one of the ancient Chinese book said: As the great nature maintains vigor through movement, a gentleman should constantly strive for self-perfection.
大学毕业后，他来到了一家国有企业工作，捧上了人人羡慕的“铁饭碗”。凭着一股诚恳踏实、勇于创新的精神，在短短几年的时间里，他被升为技术科长，成为企业的重点培养对象。
After graduation from the university, he entered a state-owned enterprise, which was a secure job regarded as “iron bowl” at that time. He had been hard working and brave in making innovation, and was promoted to be the chief of engineering section after a few years, and was chosen as the key person to be trained by the enterprise.
1985年 Year 1985
中国共产党第十二届中央委员会第三次全体会议，今天上午在北京人民大会堂召开，全会一致通过了中共中央关于经济体制改革的决定。
The Third Plenary Session of the 12th CPC Central Committee was convened on the Great Hall of the People in Beijing this morning, and the Central Committee of CPC’s decision on economic system reform was unanimously adopted.
改革开放的春风已在沿海地区悄然吹起，身边的世界发生了日新月异的变化。吴良行开始思考未来的路，是在国有企业坐享其成，还是下海经商、放手一搏？他面临着人生最重要，也是最艰难的抉择。
The spring breeze of the reform and opening has been quietly and gently blowing across the coastal areas, and great changes took place in the surrounding world. Wu Liangxing began to consider his way towards the future: to stay in the state-owned enterprise and enjoy a secure job, or create business by himself and have a try? He, at that time, had to make the most significant and also most difficult choice in his life.
那一天，他做了一个影响他一生的决定：放弃铁饭碗，单骑闯天下！
That day, he made a decision which changed all his life: giving up the “iron bowl”, and exploring the business field around the world by himself!
一无资金，二无设备，三无人员；白手起家的吴良行面临着巨大的压力，创业的路上举步为艰。
With no capital, no equipment nor any staff, setting up with nothing, Wu Liangxing faced great pressure then, and the way of carving out was full of obstacles.
为了筹到第一笔创业资金，他不得不放下知识分子的架子，硬着头皮四处借钱，却一无所获。
In order to gather the primary capital for his business, he had to forget his identity as a highbrow, and be busy running around for money, but no one would like to lend money to him.

Finally ,he lent ￥1500 at a high interest rate, which became the whole capital at the beginning of his business.
他买了三台旧机器，请了三个工人，在一个15平米的破房子里，
开始了为摩托车厂家配套生产齿轮，这就是他常说的“三只步枪闹革命”。
He bought three old machines, and employed three workers. In an old house of 15 m2, he started his business of producing gears for the motorbike factories. That was “undertaking the revolution with three rifles”, which he’d often joked.
在那个年代，可以这么说：“一等人在国企，二等人办私企，三等人干个体”。当时家里 “上有老，下有小”的，下海创业确实压力之大。可是，我为了自己的梦想，我要走出去，创造属于自己的一片广阔天地！ 我相信“铁杵磨成针，功到自然成”。于是，我就放手一博！
In that era, it was said that:” Top class people in state-owned enterprise, second class open private enterprise, and the third class employ himself”. At that time, there were old parents and young children in my family, and the pressure for opening a business was extremely big. But it was my dream. I must walk forward and create a broad world for myself! I believed that “an iron pestle can be ground to a needle, constant effort yields sure success”. So I tried.
两年过去了，他们取得了长足的进步。并获得了与南京511军工厂合作的机会，开辟了军工企业和民企合作的先河。吴良行抓住了创业路上第一个大好机遇，全厂上下都为之鼓舞。

Two years past, they had made great progress and obtained the good opportunity to cooperate with Nanjing 511 Military Factory, and became the pioneer of the cooperating private enterprise with military enterprise. Wu Lingxing seized the first excellent opportunity in his way of creating business, which greatly encouraged all the staff in his factory.
但天有不测风云，由于当时的热处理技术不过关，产品出现了严重的质量问题。军工厂中止了合作关系，企业面临极大的困境。
But something unexpected may happen at any time. Because of the unqualified heat treatment technology, serious quality problems were found in the products, and the military factory terminated the cooperation. The factory encounterred great difficulty.
企业未来的路该何去何从？吴良行又一次面临艰难的选择。
Where was the way for this factory? Once again, Wu Liangxing faced a dilemma.

Wu Liangxing went for advice all around for searching the remedy to save the factory, by recalling the painful experience, he clearly recognized that quality is the life of a enterprise.
终于决定从哪里跌倒就从哪里爬起来！
He decided to climb up from where he fell down.

改革开放给中国带来了前所未有的发展速度。汽车开始走进家庭，环保节能的电动车逐步取代摩托车，以摩托车齿轮为主业的中马又一次面临着市场的挑战。市场经济瞬息万变，中马又该如何应对？
The reform and open policy favored China with unexpected development pace. Automobile began to enter families, environmental protecting and energy-saving electric motor car gradually took the place of motorbikes, Zomax, which had been specializing in motorcycle gears, again faced the new challenge from the market. In the fast changing of the market economy, what would Zomax do?
吴良行决定进军汽车配件领域，要成为中国第一家生产汽车变速器的民营企业。
Wu Liangxing determined to march forward to the auto parts field to make itself the first private enterprise engaged in auto transmission.
在一次汽车产业交流会上，他认识了一家国内最大的日资变速器企业的总工程师张春明。
In an exchange conference of auto industry, he made acquainted with Zhang Chunming, chief engineer of a Japanese fund enterprise which boasted the largest scale in China.
出于对振兴中国民族汽车产业的共同理想，
张春明决定加盟中马，共创民族汽车工业的辉煌。
Holding the common ideal to revitalize the national auto industry, Zhang Chunming decided to join Zomax, and they would together create a brilliant tomorrow for national auto industry.

It was so exciting that Zhang Chunming brought a powerful team which combined the abilities of auto transmission development, manufacture and sales. They were attracted by Wu Liangxing’s personal fascination in his endeavor for business, and determined to join Zomax, to explore a golden thoroughfare in the auto transmission field.
从此，这里就是他们的第二个家。
From then on, it became their second home.
每逢春节，吴良行都会亲自到张总和几位老领导家里拜年。
In every Spring Festival, Wu Liangxing would visit Zhang Chunming and his team at their home in person.
这个台风啊，确实没有看到过，像我们这个年龄，太厉害了，非常凶猛
I have never experienced such a strong typhoon in all my life, too fierce.
2004年8月12日，“云娜”台风在温岭登陆。中马面临着天灾的危险，出于对员工安全的考虑，吴良行决定先送员工回家。可是很多员工为了保护企业的财产，“舍小家，保大家”。真正的中马精神、中马无可比拟的向心力就在这场风雨中得以见证！
On Aug.12th, 2004, typhoon “Yun Na” landed on Wen Ling, and Zomax faced the natural disaster. Considering the safety of the staff, Wu Liangxing decided to send them back home priorly. But in order to protect the enterprise property, many staff “protecting the big family instead of the small family”. It was the most genuine spirit of Zomax, with incomparable cohesiveness, which had been manifested in the storm.
这些人我们在抗台的时候，确实他没有考虑自己家里台风的影响，一心扑在我们公司，是不是受到台风的 损失，这是我们中马的团队精神啊，是非常到位的，通过云娜台风我检阅他们是合格的，中马的广大员工是合格的，我们的共产党员是合格的，在这次抗台当中，哪里有危险，我们的中层干部就出现在哪里，把这次台风的损失应该说是降低到了最低点。
Those people, when they were fighting against the typhoon, they really didn’t consider their own families. They were so engaged in protecting our company, worrying whether it would suffer loss in the typhoon. That is the team spirit of Zomax, perfectly. Zomax Staff have been tested by the typhoon and they are qualified. Our Party members are qualified. In the fight against typhoon, our management team always appear in the most dangerous places, and minimize the loss and damage caused by typhoon.
由于大家的共同努力，把台风造成的损失降到了最低，创造了大灾以后按时完成外商订单的奇迹。
Under the joint effort of the staff, they controlled the damage down to the minimum, and created a miracle to finish successfully order of the foreign customer timely after such a big disaster.
吴良行提倡善待员工就是善待企业。因为他深知没有这些默默奉献的员工就没有中马的今天，更没有中马的未来。他感激他们，他说他有责任把中马建设成为员工的美好家园。
In Wu Liangxing’s opinion, kindly treat staff is to treat the enterprise kindly, because he knows very well that without those staff who have always been hardworking on their own position, there will never be Today’s Zomax, even no future could be. He appreciated them, and he said that he had the obligation to build Zomax into a wonderful home for his staff.
从三支步枪闹革命到现在的中马集团，他们经历了太多的风风雨雨。有一首歌唱得好：不经历风雨，怎能见彩虹？
From the “undertaking revolution with three rifles” until today's “Zomax Group”, they have experienced too much hardships, just as a song sings: “Without experiencing the wind and rain, how can we see the rainbow?”
集团的成立不仅仅是一个名称的改变。如何经营好大集团？所以吴良行要求中马从管理层开始学习、学习、再学习。
The establishment of the group is not only a name change. How to operate a big group? Therefore, Wu Liangxing requests that all employees at or over medium-management level of Zomax should keep studying, studying and studying.

“Creating world brand, serve the whole globe” again becomes a new target and Zomax has become the pride of the Chinese nationality industry.

Today’s Zomax has developed strongly, with not only first-class quality, but also excellent team and extensive market. 实际上办企业啊，我作为老总来讲，不是说挣一点名气，挣一点名利，
实际上，即要把企业办好，又要看到这个企业要办好，是谁给我们做贡献的，这个非常重要，我的眼睛一直是往下看的，看哪里呢，看一线的员工，他们非常辛苦，他们如果看到老总，老板是可怕的话，这个企业有问题，即要怕，又要不怕，我的想法是这样的，所以平时我们必须要善待我们的员工，他们生活上啊，是不是有困难，包括其他的，小孩读书问题啊，住房问题啊，虽然一下子解决不了，我还得问问看，了解了解情况。
Actually, to run an enterprise does not only mean winning a little fame and fortune for our bosses. In fact, it’s very important for us to be clear about who can run well the enterprise and who make contributions. We should focus our attention on the things after that. Where should we focus our attention on? The employees working in shops struggle very hard. If they consider the boss to be very horrible, there are some problems with this. What I mean is that the employees should be afraid and not afraid of the bosses. For this purpose, we treat our employees with a kind heart. We often ask if there are any difficulty in their life, such as problems with children going to school, housing problems, etc. Although we cannot solve the problem, we should inquire about it to know more details.
